The item was packaged in a little pouch which is useful to stop it tangling. It was of good quality. I needed it for a funeral because my father-in-law liked red and therefore chose the red stone. However when it came it was more of a browny red. Although for the day it would have been better if it had been more red however for me I preferred it. The seller offered excellent customer service in order to get it to me on time
