Whether you have a new puppy or a longtime faithful friend, you'll love our dog books. These were designed to help you capture all the special moments you don't want to forget.

► Our dog books are 8.5" W by 7.25" H with the interior pages being 7.25" by 7.25", making it the perfect size to keep nearby and close-at-hand.

Our lay-flat design and simple prompts add to the manageability of our products. Pages accommodate up to 4"x6" photos; 3"x5" and 3x3" or 4x4" square prints also work well.

► Your book will have a front cover just like the one pictured in the main picture and a coordinating back cover. We will personalize your cover with your dog's name (please see Personalization Info below).

► There's an envelope in the back of each book to hold additional photos and other small mementos.

► We offer two versions of the book - one for an individual who has a dog (uses "me"/"I" throughout the book) as well as a family version (uses "we"/"us").

Each book will contain the following sections, professionally printed on premium, bright-white 80# card stock:

This 14 page section includes pages for you to remember all the things you did to get ready for your dog's arrival, a map and two heart stickers to show the journey from you to your dog, a paw prints page (including a one-time use ink strip to capture their print!), what you did to help your dog settle in, and plenty of room for photos and journaling about the first time you laid eyes on your pup.

/// All About You ///
What you know about your dog's parents/breed, all about their name (and subsequent nicknames!), pages to journal about their firsts and include some photos of their firsts, space to record all of their preferences and quirks, commands they know, and more.

/// Moments ///
In this section you'll find 20 photo pages for you to put any and all pictures of your pup - celebrations, milestones, that first hike or road trip, or anything else you want to remember forever. These pages are not titled so you can use them however you'd like.

Yes! We carry books that are similar in content to our baby books for kids up to age 6. Instead of birth pages, these books have a couple of birthday/how we celebrated pages. Also, instead of milestones, they have a favorites section to write favorite toys, colors, games, etc. You can find the older child books in our "Big Kids" section. Please note that you can switch out covers for these. If you want a book for your three year-old but love one of the newborn book covers, go ahead and order the three year-old version of the book and specify cover choice in the note to seller box at checkout.

I know how much you want your journal (it's time to start documenting, right?!) so I try to get my products out quickly. All journals are handmade start to finish, once the order is placed. I usually have a three day turnaround on my books but promise to have them in the mail no later than 5 business days after purchase. If I have a longer than normal queue, and cannot guarantee shipment within 5 business days, I will post this in my shop announcement at the top of my main shop page.

All orders ship via the good ol' USPS. Most books arrive within 3-4 days of shipment, sometimes sooner.

Why am I being asked for baby's first holiday? We order the holidays in the celebrations section of the book in chronological order, based on your child's due date/birthdate. You'll want to select the closest holiday after their due date/birthday. For example, if your child's birthday is May 1st, you'd want to select Mother's Day.

Ship items back: within 7 days of delivery. We will respond to your initial request for a return with all necessary steps to complete your return. Customers choosing to return an approved item are responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

Refunds issued: within 48 hours of us receiving the item we will refund the original payment method used, minus the original shipping cost.

Love the book. Already started filling it out and don't pick up my puppy until Mother's Day. I had one for my labradoodle who passed suddenly and unexpectedly at 4 1/2 years old and I'm so glad I had it. It's wonderful to look back on. This one goes more in depth and has more room for pictures. I'm very happy with it.
