Slink - a reversible triangular wrap featuring a braided cable - is a KNITTING PATTERN available for instant download!

Created with a blend of baby alpaca and silk, Slink is an extremely soft reversible wrap with excellent drape. Its asymmetrical triangular shape slinks around your neck a few times as a scarf or can be worn around your shoulders as a wrap. The body is knit in squishy garter stitch and features a reversible braided cable edge on its longest side and a scalloped edge on the other. After casting on only 20 stitches, Slink is created with a repeating eight-row pattern.

This is a great pattern for those that need a break from complicated knitting or beginners who have mastered the basics and are looking for something a bit more challenging. The majority of Slink is knit on the front and back to create the garter stitch. But to keep things interesting, a few stitches are bound off every 8 rows to create the scalloped edge. And if you can knit a cable, you can make this reversible braided cable. It is simply created with a K1P1 rib and two cables every 8 rows. Easy peasy!
