Logos:
Hats come with the default 40mm rubber patch in front, but you can request a 25mm or 65mm patch if you'd like! The tag in back is our logo with the inclusive gender symbol, which has male/female/nonbinary instead of male/female/transgender. If you do not ask for black or white in "personalization," we will send you what we think matches best. You can also specify you want it made without the patch or logo tag at all. If the personalization option is not working on your Etsy app, you can leave us a note with your order at checkout.

Customization:
Hat blanks are already dyed these colors, and most of them are already distressed. We do have a few that haven't been distressed now available in just a couple of colors above. Select the color option without "distressed" in the name to order one of these and please REMIND US that you don't want a distressed one in the personalization box or "note to seller" at checkout so we don't miss it, because we rarely get orders for the non-distressed ones. The personalization field is otherwise only for requests about the logo patches/labels. We do not yet have materials for any other pride flags. We do not have an embroidery machine. You can choose other patches in our shop or even have one sent to us, but we do not make custom patches.

Washing instructions:
Machine washing it may flatten out the brim, so we recommend spot cleaning/hand washing when necessary. If this does not clean it sufficiently, you could try machine washing it on low, but DO NOT machine dry. Make sure it doesn't stay wet for too long either, because the metal piece inside could rust.

Quick note: nonbinary people are part of the trans community, no gatekeeping, wear whatever flag works best for you!

When measuring, wear little to no clothing. Do not pull the tape measurer or string so tight that it creates an indent, but do not leave too loose either. If you do not have a soft measuring tape, you can use a non-stretch string or charging cable to wrap around your body, then meausure that with a regular ruler!

It's really up to personal preference and body type. If you have broad shoulders/chest (so most of that measurement is ribcage, not breast tissue), or get claustrophobic/anxiety or back pain from binding, we recommend the larger size. For those with a small frame and larger cup size, the smaller size will probably work better. We do offer free size exchanges within the US, since every body is unique! If in doubt, go for the larger size, since we more frequently get exchange requests for a size up rather than down.

Xander pulls a small amount of paper off to stick the tape to his inner breast, puts a hand over the tape to squish the breast into the pec-like shape they want it to be, and rolls the rest of the tape onto his side just below the armpit hair without stretching it too much. He also cuts the top corner into a curve or diagonal to control the compression - you can see how they typically wear the T-Tape here:

That depends on the product. Individual product listings will have a brief policy for whether we accept exchanges or returns of certain items. We offer free size exchanges and store credit for most items, but they are generally subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned for cash-back. Our packaging is plain with eco-conscious symbols only & the shipping labels we use for Etsy have the name "Xandre Shephard" rather than the brand's name. Shipping labels from our website GenderBenderLLC.com say "GB LLC," but "GenderBender" is never displayed on the outside of any of our packages!

A packing slip with the details for your order and our shop will normally be included inside the package, to make sure we send you the correct items and that you can find information you may need from us. But, you can request that we leave it out by leaving a "note to shop" at checkout asking that we "please exclude the packing slip from my order's packaging" :)

To hide the shop name on your card statement, we recommend using PayPal at checkout.
