For best application, set your iron to medium/high (wool to cotton / 300F to 400F / 148C to 204C). Do not use steam. A pressing cloth is recommended but not required (a lightweight cotton bed sheet or hand towel are good alternatives). Press and hold for 25 to 40 seconds. For maximum adhesion, use a folded towel or an oven mitt to continue to apply pressure to the patch as it cools. Do not test the adhesion until the area is completely cool-- attempting to pull up the patch while it's still warm may weaken the iron-on backing.
