What is my order arrives damaged?

This is rare. Please message us with a picture, and we will have a replacement sent out.

Can I take off the transparent heat seal or lid?

The terrarium is a sealed and sterile environment. Taking off the heat seal or lid will result in introducing contamination to the gel, eventually killing the plant. DO NOT remove the lid unless you are ready to transplant!

Can I feed the Venus Fly Trap or Sundews?

You cannot open the lid to feed the plants. The gel contains all the necessary nutrition to support the plants.

How are the plants able to grow maintenance free?

The plants are living in a sterile, sealed, self-sustaining environment. All the nutrition for the plant exists in the gel.

How do I care for the terrariums?

No watering, feeding, or supplementing with grow lights/sunlight is needed. Actually direct light sources are harmful to the flower terrariums. The carnivorous plants can be supplemented with light, but it must be a low heat emitting grow light (LED or CFL) at least 12" away.

How long can the plants live in the terrariums?

Anywhere from 6-12 months. Some customers have had the orchid terrariums last 2 years!

What happens when the plant outgrows the terrarium container?

The miniature orchids are at full size and will not grow any further. The carnivorous plants will outgrow the container in 6-12 months time, then you can transplant it via instructions at our website https://www.bloomifytech.com.

Ornithocephalus Gladiatus is a miniature, hot-to-cool epiphyte distributed in Venezuela, Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.

It’s also named Sword-Shaped Lip Ornithocephalus due to its fan-shaped leaves, which looks like Psygmorchis Pusilla. The main differences between Psygmorchis Pusilla and Ornithocephalus Gladiatus is that the latter has darker greenish leaves and flowers.

The Sword-Shaped Lip Ornithocephalus grows better mounted on tree fern or wood piece. Please give your orchid partial shade and humid conditions.

Shipping was lightning fast. I ordered on a Friday and the package arrived on Sunday. Each orchid was carefully packaged and they all arrived in great shape.
