Dotty the Deer

Dorothy or Dotty as she's known to her friends, loves to eat apples. Her favourite is the Jonagold variety.

This woodland wonder hanging decoration features ‘Dotty’ a cute little deer which has been hand embroidered by myself. This tiny deer embroidery on a hessian fabric, measures 2.5 cms and is encased in a plastic dome surrounded by a decorative rose gold beaded trim which gently shimmers as it moves. The embroidery is mounted on a small log slice and has two tiny hooks, one at the top which holds the hanging thread with a pretty glass bead, and one at the bottom which is threaded with four pretty beads. The back is painted with metallic copper paint and has my name painted on which has been protected with matt varnish.

This delightful curio will look pretty hung from your Christmas tree or a drawer handle. A perfect gift for your loved ones, for all wildlife lovers, or perhaps yourself!

This hanging decoration measures 4.5 cms in diameter and approximately 18 cms in length when hung.

To care for Dotty, please use a clean, soft cloth dampened with water to clean the plastic dome. Please do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning products.

Dotty comes with her own little box made of strong papier mache, then filled with shredded tissue inside, which will keep her safe and snug during transit. The box will be wrapped in my own printed paper, and then placed in a bubble envelope for protection in the post.

Please note this is not a toy. Due to the decoration containing small parts, please display well out of the reach of young children.
