When we created Leroy, all these techniques and traditions inspired us; our products result from the best Italian craftsmanship and British design. Leather and accessories are individually chosen by us, from vegetable-tanned Vachetta and solid brass hardware to our durable zippers.

When you decided to choose a Leroy leather product, we want you to be as pleased with your new purchase in two, five, ten years as you are today. Leather is a natural fibre an organic material; it required occasional care and conditioning to keep the best initial look throughout the years.
Please use the following guidelines:
• Avoid overfilling your handbag, briefcase or duffle bag.
• If you are using your bag daily, wipe away dust and spots with a soft brush or cloth each week.
• Keep the bag out of direct sunlight and heavy rain for an extended period.
• We recommended using specialised care products such as wax or cream once a month to add a layer of protection, repelling minor scuffs and scratches and a barrier against dirt and moisture.
• Always choose a cream which contains only natural waxes.
• Goods like deodorant, fragrance, cologne, balsams, shampoo. Must be stored in a separate bag.
• Apply a waterproofing spray before having your leather bag come into contact with denim and other non-colourfast materials.
QUICK TIPS TO FOLLOW

• Clean leather with a soft brush or cloth no less than once in 2 weeks.
• Make sure your bag will be exposed to air regularly.
• Remove away water or moisture quickies as you.
• Dry wet leather naturally, don’t use heaters.
• Use a specialised leather wax and cream no less than once in 3-6 months.
• Clean stain and spots with a mixture of soap flakes and warm water.
• Don’t use a steam cleaner.
• Leather is not suitable for machine wash and ironing.
• Don't use too much water when clean leather.
STORAGE

If you don’t use the bag every day, store it in their dust covers, or plan to leave it for more than a month, use leather cream before storing it in the dust cover.
Please make sure your bag is:
• Stored away from artificial sources of heat and high humidity, e.g. radiators can cause the leather to dry and crack.
• Don’t use plastic bags; use a dust cover to allow good ventilation.
• Remove all goods from inside.
• You can put paper or bubble wrap to maintain a rigid form of the bag.
• Don’t use newspaper or similar products, which has a high risk of print to rub off onto the inside.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

The most important “ingredient” for a quality bag is leather, and our creators were thrilled to discover that Vachetta leather is perfect when it comes to handbags. Vachetta is a full-grain type of leather that has minimal treatment applied to its surface and throughout. This combination of high oil content and limited processing results in an elastic, smooth leather with a natural esthetical that, as time goes by, only get better.
At Leroy, we use the vegetable-tanning method for Vachetta leather, which consists of applying natural tannins by hand, taking up to 60 days. All these techniques bring Vachetta to the top of the hierarchy when it comes to luxury leather.
Since we are keen to satisfy all customers’ requirements, we designed various bags using Dollaro and Saffiano leather.
The embossing of Vachetta leather obtains Dollaro leather. It will darken its original colour over time; the character is firm, gives excellent rigidity to products and has high scratch resistance.
Saffiano is a textured leather, famous for its diagonal lines, meaning it has a crosshatch finish achieved by treating the Vachetta leather with a specialised stamping machine. It combines exceptional durability and stain resistance with elegance and class.
