When I lived in Japan, I fell in love with their gorgeous kimonos and obis (the part of the kimono that wraps around the waist and is formed into a bow). Japan has such amazing textiles. I ended up coming home with lots of obis and kimonos and have enjoyed finding ways to upcycle them! The obis are such gorgeous material, that they make amazing Christmas stockings. This stocking measures 17" long and 7.5" wide at the top. The stocking is big enough to pack with all sorts of fun goodies. The inside of the stocking is green cotton fabric, while the front is a beautiful green obi with a gold and red flower pattern. The back is a solid green obi. There are four stockings available-pattern placement may be a little different on each stocking. I also have listed a smaller version of this stocking, which is perfect for neighbor/teacher/friend gifts. The Christmas stocking is made in my smoke-free and pet-free home. Hope you enjoy!
