This piece is one of a series depicting garden birds. I worked a lot of hand-embroidery into the original collages to capture the beautiful detail of these delightful creatures.
I enjoy watching the birds in my garden every day. I live a few miles from the centre of London, and am very pleased with the variety that I have encouraged into my little patch by feeding them. They get good food though; meal worms, fat balls and a gourmet seed mix!
