My name is Gana and I live 3 hours by train from Ulanbaatar, Mongolia in a little village. I’m excited about selling on etsy as my village was connected to the internet only a couple of weeks ago. I produce felt slippers entirely by hand – starting with the felting to embroidering them with authentic Mongolian patterns. Mongolia has a long tradition in felting and I like experimenting with different felting techniques from different parts of the countries.

My shoes are inspired by the traditional Mongolian shoe shape and are enhanced with an extra thick base that will keep your feet warm and will make the shoes more durable. Felt however will never make your feet sweat. Once you’ve tried them you will never want to wear any other slippers.

I generally produce size 36-47 but smaller and bigger sizes are also possible. Please understand that sizes 43 and larger are slightly more expensive as they require more felt. I don’t have all sizes in stock but they can be made to order. Please inquire on what size you need. Allow 10-30 days if shoes need to be made to order, depending on quantity. If they are in stock they can be sent straight away.

The shoes will be sent straight from Mongolia in a Mongolian Post Parcel with a little Mongolian surprise included. It can take up to 3 weeks but sometimes it can be quicker.

Base colours are as depicted in the photos but thread colour might vary depending on what’s available on the local market. Remember everything is handmade. Please enquire if you are in doubt.
