❂ This necklace has a lot of pointy ends: are they sharp? Will they scratch my skin? ❂

✯ Definitely no: all the edges that could actually hurt your skin are sanded, refined and tested until they are comfortable to wear.

❂ I would like to buy one of these figurines but I'm not sure about the packaging: how Lumen Emporium figurines are shipped? ❂

✯ All fragile pieces I sell are shipped with a proper envelope, for the most difficult shapes, I create myself some particular types of envelope, in order to keep safe the piece, to well anchored it to its base and to protected from external pressure.
Sadly, I cannot prevent an eventual negligence of the postal service, so I'm not responsible if the item comes broken. Should this happen, contact me and I' ll do my best to help.


❂ Is polymer clay easy to break? ❂

✯ No, a properly baked polymer clay piece is extremely elastic and not easy to break at all. Polymer clay is fragile only if under-baked.


❂ Is resin easy to break? ❂

✯ There are many different types of resins, each one with a different elasticity and strength.
The resin I'm using to create my pieces stays light and quite elastic, with a good resistance to impacts, it simply requires the cautions normally used with a jewelry piece.

❂ Can I request a custom order? ❂

✯ Of course you can! I can provide to you some prototypes and drawings based on your request or you can show me your own designs to realize your project.
We can discuss the project, costs, shipping times and everything you need to have your custom order done.
For realization, I will use the materials I usually work with.

❂ Of what alloy these metal chains are made? ❂

✯ I use different types of metals and alloy: iron and zinc alloy are the most common, but, when specified, I also use silver plated metal and stainless steel chains and wires.
If you are allergic to nickel, remember to always check your chain with a metal id kit: zinc alloy may, rarely, contains nickel, even if it is usually combined with brass.
Otherwise, you could ask me to replace metallic parts with silver plated metal, stainless steel, cotton or nylon cords.

❂ How do I recharge my glow in the dark item? ❂

✯ Always use a UV torch for at least a minute: it will recharge properly the glowing colors and it won't heat up the resin.

❂ How do I keep my jewelry piece clean? ❂

✯ To clean up chains and metallic wires you can use a specific product for polishing jewelry.
Do not use any product on cold cast resin pieces, they already have a final layer that protects their surface.
To clean up resin and polymer clay from dust or dirt, you can simply use tepid water and soap, just rubbing delicately with your hands: be careful to do not scratch the protective surface of your item.
Do not use alcoholic substances on resin and polymer clay, it would damage the colors and the object endurance.
