Vintage Doria Leuchten Murano Bubble Glass Egg-shaped Chrome Table Lamp

A delicately ornate table lamp, this lovely piece comes in a textured handblown bubble Murano glass orb resting over a circular chrome and aluminium base. It would work well as an accent table or desk lamp, on one's coffee, end or side table, next to one's window, as a bedside lamp or as a night light for a young one's bedroom or as a sentinel by the entrance door.

Origin: assembled in West Germany during the 1970s by Doria Leuchten, the glass orb having been manufactured on the Italian island of Murano.

Condition: in excellent vintage shape. The chrome base has some light scratches from previous use. The glass orb is in perfect shape, no marks, cracks, chips or dents. The lamp is in perfect working condition.

Please note: since the lamp is of European origin, all non-European potential buyers should be aware of the voltage, in this case 220V. The lamp also has a standard European plug. We recommend a maximum of 40W for the lightbulb to avoid any potential damage to the base that might be caused by overheating.
