*** About this map ***
This is an exceedingly rare, full colour map, originally created in 1709 of the late Roman Empire as it was in 400AD and its surroundings, just before its downfall began.

The original name for this map is: An historical map of the Roman Empire and the neighbouring barbarous nations to the year of our Lord four hundred when the empire began to be rent with foreign invasions. It was created as a historical record because the previous map upon which this is based was scarce and in bad condition.

This map is an unusual size - it's extremely wide - and would make a fantastic statement piece above a sofa, table, mantelpiece or staircase. The three smaller sizes (18x8, 24x11 and 36x16) all come with white edges that can be easily snipped off (or they will help you with framing!). The larger sizes are all printed and cut perfectly to size.

You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our your map pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame, or larger framed map. I use super-clear acrylic (perspex/acrylite) - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.
