Ezer Kenegdo is what God calls Eve before Adam names her Eve. Most Bibles have translated Ezer as simply "helper" or "helpmate", and many have taken that to also mean subordinate or inferior, but there is a lot more to the words. Other translations of the Hebrew word, Ezer, are 'to rescue or save' and 'to be strong'. Other times Ezer is used in the Bible are to describe warriors in battle and to reference God himself. And, kenegdo translates to 'corresponding as to him', 'opposite to him', and 'suitable for him', bringing so much more to Eve's role and character. It's a shame most English Bibles don't convey these meanings more clearly.
