Most of our knitted items (except for those with embellishments) are machine washable on a gentle setting. Lay flat to dry. You may also hand wash or spot treat as needed. Please note that fuzzing or pilling may occur. You can clean this up as you would a sweater.

Measurements are available in each listing. These are approximate; because our items are handmade, dimensions may vary slightly. Sizing by age is designed for an average fit. You may also trace your hand or your child's hand on paper and measure the dimensions. Do not include the cuff in measurements, especially for babies and small children, who naturally have a slight curl in their hand.
Marion's Mittens are knitted by hand from acrylic yarn. We love this material because it's machine washable, durable, and good for people with skin sensitivities or allergies. Knitted by hand using small (size 2, 3, or 4) double pointed needles, our mittens are tightly knit to keep you warm. Our traditional mittens are knitted from a pattern designed more than 60 years ago by Marion. These are the classic mittens that YOUR grandma used to make! They are soft and stretchy. We also offer knitted and crocheted scarves and baby afghans, as well as finely knitted baby sweater sets.
100% of the payment is due in advance for custom orders. Custom orders are taken based on our availability to complete them within your time frame. Everything is handmade and each pair of mittens takes hours to complete. We can accommodate these requests with a reasonable lead time, however! For large orders, assume one week for every three pairs of mittens needed.
