This pattern is good, and my final result turned out excellently. There are a few areas where it is unclear, but with experience and some elbow grease it's decently easy to figure out how to put the piece together. The foundation stitches can be difficult to work, so make sure you're keeping the base of the stitches loose so that you can put your hook back through them. I highly reccomend having an ergonomic hook or a thimble when making the feathers. This is a beautiful piece, and i love the final result. Thank you!

The oattern concept is pretty easy, its the wording that stumped me a few times. I wish there were more photos showing the steps for doing the continuous loop of the feathers, the written i struction for that just did not make sense. All in all its a really cool pattern, im almost done with mine. Deffinetly a costume piece!
