These pieces were fired in a wood kiln to cone 10. I glazed them with a white glaze that grew so many crystals it became matte. The tumbler has three wadding marks from where it was propped off the kiln shelf, and then two smaller wadding marks on the other side where another tumbler was stacked on top of it. Roughly half of the cup is a grayish yellow from where ash collected, and the other half is brownish red. The bowl has some very subtle colors on its exterior. The browns, oranges, and grays flow into each other nicely. This is a great set for juice and cereal in the morning.

This set is microwave, dishwasher, and food safe, as well as non toxic. The tumbler holds a little over 1 1/4 cups, and measures about 5" tall, 3 1/4" wide, and has a 2 1/2" foot. The bowl measures 5 1/4" wide, stands at 3 1/4" tall, and holds 2 1/4 cups.
