Highlights
This is an "Amish" style rubber treadle machine belt. It is not meant for industrial machines.
UPDATE: As of September 28, 2021, this belt is 3/16 of an inch in diameter and over 72" long, which is generous enough for almost all domestic sewing machines that require a treadle belt.
Use this in place of a leather belt! It grips better, is easier to install, and lasts longer. It is the same diameter of a traditional leather belt. It should fit most any treadle machine.
I restore vintage sewing machines on the side and recently switched all of my own treadle machines over to Amish rubber treadle belts, mostly because the grip is better and I have fewer slippages when sewing. Customers are also very happy with them.
Instructions are included on how to install it; much easier than the leather belts out there, AND it's black, so it blends right in with your vintage treadle machine.
These belts are not intended for industrial sewing machine use.
