I love utilizing anything that is considered "conflict free".
This kind of ring is perfect as a non-traditional engagement ring, a promise ring or a for whatever. Rough diamonds are generally considered conflict free stones because they will have slight imprerfections, which makes them so naturally beautiful!
Here, a stunning rough raw uncut diamond of your choice will be set in a rustic bezel setting that is part of a very unique & one of a kind engagement ring. A matching wedding band will accompany it & fits into the facets of the unique curves of the branch like band. **Please note there is NO mold for this, it is all made freehand and made to order, so your ring will vary somewhat from the set you see in the photos. Those sets have already been sold. But for size references, the shiny set was a size 8 set and the diamond was a silverish white and .50 carat.
The first photo shows a set i just finished and a .50 carat diamond was used it was gray w/ silver specs & oblong. On the matching wedding band, I added a leaf around the diamond to accuentuate it's shape. That set was also oxidized and a size 5 1/2. I was so thrilled over how this set came out, I did a photo shoot for it . :D

This set is made to order & will require up to 3 weeks for completion. What you will need to do is first choose a stone. I do have some here in the shop, but I can use your stone, or purchase a stone in the color, carat & shape of your choice. I give you general options at checkout of what stone type you'd like. When you make these choices at checkout, I will choose the stone that best fits what you chose in our dropdown list, unless you have any additional interests in a stone. I can also send you some photos of what I do have in stock, however, if you choose a stone and it is not something i have in stock, I will need to purchase it, so I would then search for several stones from my supplier & have you pic from their photos. Then I would purchase the stone. If you choose this option, please understand that it will take time for your stone to be shipped to me, so please allow at least 2 additional weeks.
Please note also, that if I order a stone that has a cost greater that what I anticipated, I will need to adjust the price. You will still purchase this listing up front, but I will bill you for any additional costs as far as the stone. My prices are pretty much in the ballpark however, so really this would only be if you chose a stone that was pretty large.

HOW it's made:
I use the lost wax technique to create each ring. First, for the diamond ring, I form a base in wax to house the diamond & its very unique features, then make the band in wax. This design will look like a willow tree branch and it is all free-hand made in wax first.
The stone is waxed in pace in the wax ring pattern & is cast in place
The wax ring is then placed in a silica mold that heats to 1200 degrees, wherein the wax ring gets melted out leaving a void. I then use my super badass torch to melt the sterling silver in a crucible and use a centrifuge machine to cast it. - The machine is all hand manipulated- yes old school.. and I wouldnt have it any other way.
I use sterling silver .925 (supplied by The Argen corp) to cast the ring.
I hand polish it to a high shine, but I can also oxidize the metal in a matte grey for no extra charge and I do believe, with the design of this set it would look extremely cool.
I do everything by hand- i dont use a tumbler- ever!

DETAILS:
Shape : Natural - as mined You will choose shape @ checkout. 'Round' = roundish, 'Oblong' = other than round (oval,, sqaure-ish, etc..)
Gemstone : rough raw uncut diamond
Color : your choice- you will make appropraite choice @ checkout. I have listed the 6 most popular & easily accessible colors for uncut diamonds.
Weight :.your choice- please make appropriate choice @ checkout.
Clarity : na- rough raw uncut natural diamonds do not have a clarity value.
Metal: .925 sterling silver- shiny- or oxidized - please make a note at checkout.
Ring size: You will specify @ checkout in the "note to seller box"

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Option 1:
-Purchase listing & make choices using drop down menus of your choice of diamond.
-Choose this option only if you are ok with me choosing the stone that best fits your choices
-Wait approx 3 weeks for me to complete your ring set- You will be notified when it ships &
& I will send you a tracking number.
Option 2:
- Convo me to send photos of stones I have available, if I do not have what you would like, I
will compile some photos of stones that I would need to purchase to complete your ring. There
is no additional fee for this, unless you are wanting a stone larger than what is listed in our
drop down menu.
- Once you choose your stone, You will need to purchase this listing. I will not purchase stones
unless payment for lisitng is complete. I can however set up a payment plan, please convo to
to discuss your options, I will try to best fit plans to your budget.
- Since there are variations usings option 2, and it may take me some time to track a stone your
desire, obviously the process of me to make your set may be longer. I will communicate with you to keep you in the loop of the progress of your set.

- I can send you photos of your completed rings for your approval before they get shipped, upon request, however, once i have completed them, as with any custom order, they are not returnable, unless there was a gross mistake or misinterpretation on our part of what you wanted. And that does not happen, because i will communicate with you through the entire process. I cannot refund due to buyers remorse, or if someone's financial sitiuations happens to sour. I hope you understand that it does take a lot of time to make something of this nature. And my time , as well as yours is very precious.
