Intermediate crochet pattern for a colourful scarf, made in a pretty chevron and lace pattern. Worked over two rows, this pattern is designed to make the most of up all your small scraps of Light (DK) yarn. Change colour every row to create a totally unique and beautiful accessory. A touch of gold sparkle is added to the finished scarf for a dressy look.
If you wish to recreate the scarf in the colours as shown, I've also included details of the colours I used (or their current equivalents).
Materials:
• Approx 300g/980yds of Light (DK) yarn scraps in assorted colours
• 8g/45yds Light yarn in Gold Colour (pictured here in Ricorumi Lame’ DK by Rico in Col 002 Gold – each ball 10g/55m)
• Size US7 (4.5mm) crochet hook
Finished size = approx 82" x 12" inches (210cm x 30cm)
The pattern is written in both USA and British UK crochet terms (two separate Pdfs) with clear descriptions of the stitches. I've also included links to a video tutorials so that you can see the stitches demonstrated. Plus, you'll have my crochet notes to the pattern to ensure you can relax and crochet with confidence throughout.
The skill level is given as Intermediate so it's best suited to those with some experience of zigzag stitches, increasing and decreasing. This crocheted scarf pattern is worked over just two rows, making it easy to memorize and enjoy.
