I bought this item in black and I do like it. However, it cannot hold my hair in a ponytail by itself, it isn’t tight enough. I have to use a hair tie first and then use the item over it as a decorative piece. That works for me, but I wish it just contracted further so I didn’t have to use the hair tie too.

Where has this been all my life? Or at least my life with long hair? I wash my hair, put it in a ponytail, twist it around and put the cage on to hold it in place while it dries. Dries curly and is off my neck. I love it, made well, scrunches down easily. Very happy!
