Great quality. Bookbinders use these to "nip" the bands on the spines of leatherbound books. Generally these "band nippers" are $130-$200, but these pliers are exactly that, and that is what I use them for. They're also great for leatherworkers in general, in pulling leather to stretch over say a seat or even when doing leather work in cars and boats. Seller was great, fast shipping, and highly rec'd.
The material is robust, but the finish might be a little less rough softer to the touch, but it does its job.
