Here's a knitted towel pattern that DOESN'T NEED A BUTTON and WON'T SLIP OFF THE HANDLE! It also has twice the drying space of the usual knitted towel.

It's knitted with soft cotton worsted weight yarn in garter stitch, has a slipped stitch edge and a keyhole placed midway through that allows one end of the towel to pull through the other for a decorative but highly functional kitchen towel. Use neutral colors or fun, colorful strips!

Knit a couple of coordinating towels for yourself, and a couple more to give! Makes a great gift paired with a dishcloth, soap, or other kitchen gift.

Yarn used - 186 yards Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton (174 yds. curry + 12 yds. contrasting color) for yellow towel, OR 197 yards Lily Sugar 'n Cream (185 yds. ecru + 12 yds. contrasting color) for ecru towel

Needle size - US 8 - 5.0mm

Gauge 18 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch.
