Looking for a small to medium-sized hand or shelf specimen from a cool, unique locality? This is amethyst from Alacam amethyst mine, Turkey! It has a subtle reddish or pinkish hue to its purple body tone. It features beautiful sharp small points of crystalline amethyst, which rise off of a slightly curving matrix. Some points are pristine and some display damage. The color is a unique shade of slightly warm purple, or purple with a hint of smoke—these clusters take a reddish tone due to hematite inclusions. This small to medium cluster has an aesthetic curved shape that is ideal for holding or display, and could even be used in jewelry! This piece would be an excellent display specimen, and is also suitable for use during gridding or meditation.
