>>>>>>>A TRUE CENTERPIECE and CONVERSATION PIECE<<<<<<<

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A VERY UNUSUAL UNIQUE PIECE OF ART TO BE GIVEN TO YOUR LOVED ONE, BEST FRIEND, BABY ROOM DECORATION, HOLIDAY DECORATION, FIANCE’, WIFE, HUSBAND, SON, DAUGHTER, MOTHER, FATHER, GRANDPARENTS OR JUST FOR ANYBODY SPECIAL TO YOU?

Composed of the Japanese words oru (to fold) and kami (paper), Origami has a rich and complex history that spans culture, class, and geography.

Modular origami, or unit origami, is a paper folding technique, which uses multiple sheets of paper to create a larger and more complex structure than would be possible using single-piece origami techniques.

THIS UNIQUE ONE-OF-A-KIND CREATION COMBINES KNOWLEDGE OF GEOMETRY WITH THE MASTERMIND OF MODULAR ORIGAMI.

• TRIANGULAR HEXAHEDRON IS COMPOSED OF 3 UNITS
• THE CUBE IS COMPOSED OF 6 UNITS
• THE STELLATED OCTAHEDRON IS MADE OF 12 UNITS
• THE STELLATED ICOSAHEDRON IS MADE OF 30 UNITS.

>> A BEAUTIFUL TINY METAL CRANE IS HUNG SURROUNDED BY BEAUTIFUL GLASS AND METAL BEADS THAT ENHANCE THE ELEGANCE AND ADD TO THE BEAUTY OF THE ORNAMENT.

>>THE CRANE IS A SYMBOL OF PEACE IN JAPAN AND WAS ADOPTED AS ONE ALL OVER THE WORLD.

These 51 paper squares of 2” each was meticulously folded individually into a MODULE or UNIT. These modules were assembled into a three-dimensional structure by inserting flaps into pockets created by the folding process. In spite of the fact that these insertions create tension or friction that holds the model together, the interlocking pieces were glued together.

This spectacular and intricate display has its own uniqueness and is meant to decorate your home and/or make a very special gift AND A CONVERSATION PIECE. It is displayed and hung on a beautiful ornament stand that is INCLUDED.

• THE TRIANGULAR HEXAHEDRON MEASURES: 1” ACROSS
• THE CUBE MEASURES: ¾” ACROSS
• THE STELLATED OCTAHEDRON MEASURES: 1.5” ACROSS.
• THE STELLATED ICOSAHEDRON MEASURES: 2.25” ACROSS
• THE CRANE MEASURES 7/8” ACROSS THE WINGS
• THE HEIGHT OF THE METAL STAND IS 13.5”

DURABLE - The complete creation is coated with a non-toxic glossy varnish protective coating to make it resistant to moisture and sunlight.

The four Polygons will be safely placed in a box. The Ornament Stand and the box containing the Polygons will be safely placed in a larger box to secure it all in shipping

---------- >>>> “An appeal of modular folding is that spectacular structures can be made from simple units so that the whole is very much more than the sum of its parts”.
(Davis Mitchell, Origamist, UK) <<<< --------
