YOU WILL NEED A PRINTER TO USE THIS ITEM.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- frame to work on, I have included some notes on making your own frame.
- weavers cloth
- a permanent marker
- a punch needle - I use an Ultrapunch with the medium sized needle for this
project.
- Embroidery floss in regular DMC floss, the amount of floss followed by the colour number:

This pattern, “Great Blue Heron" is a Jamie Bennett original. If you print the pattern as is, it will measure 7.14" x 15.75" and will print out on 2 pages of 8.5" x 11" (21.5 cm x 28 cm) paper. Once you have printed out the template it is ready to trace onto your backing fabric.

I chose to punch this picture so that the finished item features the"flat" stitches (the side you work on).

Skill level: I assume that you have some punch needle experience but if not you might want to take an online course. It’s very easy to learn how to punch needle.
