These glass creations are made by placing individual pieces of glass (called "frit") one by one onto the underlying glass canvas. Some are random placement of specific colors (Aiden, Mermaid Bubbles, Ocean Blue) while others are very carefully crafted in using the same colors arranged in a specific way (ColorBurst, Birds of Paradice).

❤ Price is PER STICK or PER SET and order $35 or more of any studioTica product (swizzle stick or other) at one time, and the whole order ships for free! All "sets" come pre-wrapped in an elegant gift box (excludes 10+ inch as they are shipped in a tube).

❤ My handmade java stirrers add a dash of color and originality to your drink -- a definite conversation starter. Durable and functional with one rounded and one flat side, they combine to create the perfect stirrer. Each stirrer is individually cut, assembled, and fired in my kiln. As they are handmade, each will be unique in appearance and all sizes are approximate. While multiple sticks and assorted sizes may be shown to illustrate the product, unless otherwise noted, they are sold individually.

❤ Multi-functional - While the sticks were originally designed for cocktails, they are functional art and can be used as a coffee (java) stirrer, honey dipper, or pitcher stirrer. Suggested use (by length):
>> 5.50" + 6.50" = Martini, Whisky, Cocktails, Tumblers, essential oils, and cosmetic application.

The original swizzle stick, not to be confused with that cheap plastic stirrer the bartender leaves in a lowball glass, is an age-old instrument for cocktail making—and a brilliant example of man adapting nature to his most pressing needs. It is the actual branch of the shrub-like Quararibea turbinata, aka the swizzlestick tree, a species indigenous to the Caribbean. The clever islander who first used one of the tree's stalks to mix crushed ice with rum, juice, sugar, spice, or some other combination of harmonious cocktail ingredients, is lost to history. Fortunately, my handmade glass delights can both mix a drink and make them look more amazing than before.

❤ Fused glass is created by custom mixing glass and firing in a kiln at 1200-1450 degrees F. It is then slowly cooled for durability and strength. Due to the handmade process, each product will have slight variations in size, glass tint/color and texture. These slight imperfections are what make them unique and special. With all my handmade glass, I highly recommend hand washing.
