This beautiful blue Budgie is sitting on a swing, made to brighten up your home, garden or patio. I made this window hanging using a specific copper foil technique used to make stained glass art, commonly known as the Tiffany method. For this suncatcher, I used Spectrum Glass.

I bought one of Jovan’s beautiful blue budgies for my mum~she, we, loved it. After she passed away, each time I saw it hanging, alone, on the window behind my dad’s chair, it made me sad~for them both. I asked Jovan to make us another bird, this time in pink (I know, real budgies don’t come in pink, but I love the colour). The result is exquisite, and brought tears to my eyes! Plus, to my delight, Dad couldn’t get her up onto the window~beside her mate~fast enough! I’m so glad I found Jovan and his work.

Thrilled and delighted and every “happy” word describes how I feel about this beautiful piece of glass art. The workmanship is amazing; it is full of character, life and colour; it “feels” fragile and it “seems” strong; it looks fantastic with or without the light behind it; it makes you smile! I also have to say, without going into the ins and outs of it~which were many~that Jovan went above and beyond to get this flying budgie all the way from Canada to Australia, so that I can give it to my mum. I think that makes it fifteen stars. Five for quality; five for delivery and five for customer service...Because he deserves every one.
