Because you love rainbows - bath mat pattern. Brighten up bath time with this rainbow rug craft project. Just make up the pompoms in a brightly colored synthetic yarn and sew them in rows to a fabric base.

Finished size:
28" x 19" inches (71 x 49 cm)
Note 8 oz (200g) of yarn will make about 16 pompoms, so for a rug of a different size, adjust quantities accordingly.

Materials:
- 8 oz (200g) of rug yarn in each of the eight colors
- 7/8 yd (.8m) of 36in (90cm) - wide fabric of fine canvas for the backing
- 7/8 yd (.8m) of 36 in (90cm) - wide heavyweight iron-on interfacing
- large bodkin
- piece of cardboard 7" x 4" inches
- thread to match the backing fabric
