This kit includes a heart shaped wood sewing card, embroidery thread, a large-eye blunt tip needle, handmade pin cushion and a metal needle threader.

There is an option to add an extra sewing card to the kit.

Children may sew around the edge of the heart or sew across the middle. There is enough thread to sew many stitches!

In my experience, children do not enjoy removing the stitches. The thread can be used again or you can add other colors.

For children with little experience with sewing, you can thread the needle and tie the thread ends together so that the needle will not come unthreaded while the child sews.

This small wood pin cushion is perfect for little fingers.

These threaders are very handy and easy to use. There is a video in my Instagram highlights under "sewing" that shows how to use the threader. Once a child has a lesson using the threader, they gain confidence and independence to sew on their own.

These are a great start to a home sewing set or for a classroom sewing area.
