Will vinyl decals stick to my type of walls?

Vinyl stickers can be applied to most surfaces, including painted walls, finished wood, mirrors, tile, glass and plastic. ** Important note: Interior grade vinyl decals have been found to have lower adhesion levels with some types of VOC free paints and/or paints containing stain blockers. If you are worried you have this type of paint, we advise trying out a test decal before purchasing a decal. Refunds will NOT be issued for decals not sticking due to this type of paint.

Are wall decals easy to apply?

It depends on size of decal. The bigest part if wall decals can be applied without help. Each wall decal comes with easy to follow instructions. Larger more detailed design will naturally take longer and you may need a helper. In any case you'll get the test sticker to try do it before appling the main design.

Are decals removable?

Yes, you can remove the stickers. But if the wall has damaged already paint there can be a problems with decals removing. The fact that the paint doesn't adhere well (from time or due to poor quality) isn't always visible, so there is a test sticker in every order. I hard recommend to use test sticker before the main set. Stick your test sticker in the inconspicuous place and leave for a couple days (24 hours as min). In couple days (or 24 h), slow remove it (parallel to the wall. Do not pull on yourself, only parallel to the wall) and look at your wall. You'll see is your wall suitable for removing stickers. If you have problems during peel off test stickers-you can use hair dryer it helps soften the sticker glue and easier removing decals

Can the decals be sticked in the bathroom? Are they waterproof?

Yes, you can stick decals in the bathroom - they are waterproof. Note! Due to the constant changes in temperature and humidity in the bathroom, stickers can adhere very well and it can be a problem to remove them. But it's definitely not worth worrying about whether they will hold on (except in cases with low VOC paints)

Is the base of the stickers transparent or white? If I stick decals on a colored wall, what happens?

The base of the decals is white - they are opaque. Therefore, if you stick them on a colored wall or colored furniture, they will not change their color and will remain the same color as you see them now in the store and after purchase. Please note that if you glue stickers on transparent glass, then from the back side of glass you will see a white (sticky) side, not a decor.

Absolutely love these leaves! I bought for our nursery and they are so beautiful! One thing I will say, is if you have textured walls at all, these will have trouble sticking. My walls are extremely textured and within an hour of placing the stickers they started to peel. I used Mod Podge over the tops of the stickers and they have been fine ever since! Not the sellers fault that my walls are from the 90’s, so don’t let that stop you from purchasing this product - I would just be prepared to purchase Mod Podge as well.
