Highlights
This vintage Steuler vase is from West Germany 1960s--very mid century modern. It is a hard to find glaze--glossy deep blues with a glossy black added glaze. (Much of the the Steuler pottery is a more matt glaze finish.) It is marked on the bottom with the Steuler mark and the "form" number 130/10. There are no chips, cracks or repairs although there is a slight bubble in the production glaze as seen in the 4th and 8th photos. The colors are rich and deep. The design is attributed to Cari Zalloni, but further research would be needed to confirm this. It is a beautiful piece of vintage art pottery and measures approximately 6 inches in diameter, 2 inches at the opening and 3 1/4 inches at the base. Perfect for any decor and a beautiful piece for any mid century pottery collection.
