HOW TO NATURALLY SOFTEN ORGANIC MUSLIN//
Our Humble Baby Goods baby bedding items are all fabricated from 100% organic cotton muslin for ultimate breathability and softness over time for your little one. With each wash they get softer and softer and snugglier!

Organic cotton muslin does not have a soft hand at first. This is because it is a natural fiber that we have NOT treated with harmful harsh chemicals that help to quicken the fibers to break down. It has to be used and washed a few times to get it to soften up. It is inherently crinkly and that is what people love most about this fabric because it is breathable and has that natural, laid back aesthetic. The more you use your organic cotton bedding, the softer it will be! This type of bedding is naturally extremely soft and will soften even more over time with washing and usage. If you really want to try and soften your bedding further, try adding half a cup of white vinegar in the wash or rinse cycle. This will help soften your bedding more naturally without harmful chemicals!
