"Cascadia Treetops" - original pen & ink drawing on acid-free paper with archival matting & mounting

A group of wonderful creative friends invited me to assist in their face/bodypainting booth at the Cascadia Festival northeast of Granite Falls. The festival setting among a magnificent grove of old-growth evergreens along the banks of the Stillaguamish river brought a wonderful sense of peace and reflection, especially following the overwhelming impact of the music and arts events running through the evenings. This drawing created while savoring a hot coffee in those quiet hours of recovery from the revels was a healing meditation.

This drawing was created with Copic markers on an acid-free sketchbook measuring 5 x 7 inches. It is archivally matted with an outer white mat accented by a solid black inner matboard. Archivally hinged with acid-free tape, and backed with an acid-free foamboard backing, it is ready for custom framing or can be safely stored without damage in the glossy plastic sleeve protecting the package. With 1 1/2-inch even mat borders, the entire package measures 8 x 10 inches - allowing for easy ready-made framing.
