Potts is a beautiful multi-coloured teddy bear; ideal as a gift for a christening or early years birthdays as a keepsake, nursery decor or heirloom. Having said this, older children and adults, especially artist teddy bear collectors will appreciate the charm of a unique character like Potts (named after Pottsville, Arkansas).

Potts is a one of a kind (OOAK), handmade, artist teddy bear. They are made in a traditional, vintage style from a range of Steiff Schulte and Helmbold Mohair, and Faux Fur. Potts has two Liberty London cotton paw pads with a beautiful floral pattern, one with a rose gold geometric pattern and one is a white faux cashmere.
They stand at 22.5cm (8 inches) tall and sit at 16cm (6.5inches). Browns has best quality english glass eyes measuring 4mm and cotter pin joints attaching their arms, legs and head so that each limb moves independently. They are stuffed nice and firmly with polyester fibre toy filling and a little steel shot in their belly gives them a nice weight.

Due to making processes and materials BearTonBorough animals are NOT toys and are NOT suitable to be played with by young children. BearTonBorough animals are designed to be keepsakes and collectables to be treasured and adored.

All the items listed are already made but I am happy to consider commissions or specific requests. This could involve an animal in a certain colour way, used of an old garment to create a memory bear. These do take longer to create but please do not hesitate to get in contact.

PLEASE NOTE: I do reuse and recycle packaging. I hoard boxes and packaging so that when I send a BearTonBorough they reach you safely.
