This pattern is a faithful replica of an antique French sampler stitched during WW1 by a 9 years old girl called Marcelle.
A sweet little school sampler stitched in red on canvas, there is some remnants of blue wool in the center but unfortunately there is not enough left to give an idea of what was stitched there.
Design Area: 113 x 147 stitches
If stitched on 28 ct linen/ 14 ct aida the pattern will measure:
8.07" x 10.50" / 20.5 x 26.6 cm
