Highlights

Next to the "classic" waldorf doll type, there is the soft waldorf doll type. I really like it, because it is very universal and fits different ages very well - I think even a little better than the classic waldorf doll. You can easily make it in the size you like, and for kids a bit older it can also have clothes to change and hair to comb and put in braids or ponytails.

- hair type, color and length. I usually use wool for hair: It is durable and available in many beautiful styles and colors; I can use cotton/bamboo if there should be a wool-allergy.
- Standard with your order you can choose this soft waldorf doll on size and without clothes or with one clothes item (pants, skirt, dress, sweater, jacket, ...) I like to make more clothes to a doll, so please contact me if you are interested.

The main difference between this soft or cuddle waldorf doll and the "classic" waldorf doll is that the classic type has separate limbs, all in skin tone, while this soft waldorf doll type has a body made from one piece of cotton or woolen fabric. It is also not stuffed as hard as the classic type. The head of both dolls is made in the same way.

Standard sizes of my dolls are: 8-10" (20-25cm), 12-14" (30-35cm), 16-18" (40-45cm); larger or smaller is possible: please contact me in this case and I can see what I can do.

I use mainly organic cotton or woolen fabrics.

But please remember, every doll is unique. My experience is that the dolls want to be just as unique as the children it wants to play with, so really sometimes you are thinking of brown eyes at the start, and then suddenly during work on the doll it becomes clear that it wants blue ones… When a doll is in process you as my customer will get updates on every stage and I you can choose along the way any details that need to be decided. Usually I work on a soft waldorf doll for about 7 days. This depends a bit of course also on amount of detail of the hair and clothes.

These organic all natural dolls are sturdy and so well made by Olga herself. She truly loves the work she does when making each unique doll. And that love shows in each beautiful doll! We ordered one for each of our grandchildren and we are so pleased with the results and our grandchildren just love their new handmade dolls! Every step of the way Olga checks with you about each detail that you want for your doll and she offers suggestions and guidance along the way.
