I was researching animal symbolisms from around the world, from varying cultures and one of the first images that came up was the Egyptian scarab. Of course! The Egyptian scarab is well known for most people because of the tombs discovered and researched.
My husband has a lapidary shop. He cut and polished the Graveyard Plume Agate that fits onto the scarab's body. It stands 1" tall x 4 3/4" wide x 4" deep. Imitation gold leaf accents applied.
Reference to Egyptian scarabs:
"The Egyptians saw the Egyptian scarab as a symbol of renewal and rebirth."
