This is a custom and personalized pet ID dog or cat tag, it comes with two high quality split rings for easy addition to any collar and care instructions to maintain your tag and a polish pad.

---How to order?---
1. Choose material for front tag (back tag is standard nickel silver on every order)
2. Select font (font examples in picture number 5 and 6)
3. In the personalization tab add your pets name and option for your back tag. (1 phone number, 2 phone numbers OR 1 phone number and the word microchipped, if you want to customize with something else please send us a message first to see if we are able to fit it in)
4. Choose a symbol or write no symbol. Symbols and font examples are in picture number 5. If no symbol is specified we will use symbol number 3 (paw).

**If you want a smaller size (for xs dogs or cats) you can add in the notes that you want the small size! (Small size is 1" back tag and 7/8" front tag).

---What is the difference between Aluminum and Nickel Silver? ---
Aluminum is not a metal and it is lighter in weight, Nickel Silver is a metal so it is much more durable and the most resistant to tarnish.

---Will copper tags will tarnish?---
Copper reacts with oxygen and it develops a red hue (like a penny) that can be easily fixed by polishing, however tarnish will occur especially if wet.

----Can I choose same color for the front and back tag?----
Yes! we can do that by request, just add it in the notes you want both tags the same color.

---Can the tags be stamped on both sides?---
These tags can only be stamped on one each side because they are hammered in letter by letter and a slight impression of the letters shows through to the other side. We have other tags on our site where you can stamp a phone number on both sides.

---Will the name on the tag fade?---
The name and numbers are permanently engraved into the tag because they are hammered in. The blank ink on them its meant to stay for a while but since we do not use any harsh chemicals that might be harmful for your pet to permanently stain our tags the ink from your tag might fade over a period of time but you can easily repaint it with a sharpie marker and polish it with the polish pad included and it should be as good as new.

---Can I do something else than a phone number like a date?---
Yes, we can personalize your tag with a date or any other ideas you might have, just make sure to send us a message first to make sure we can fit it.

---Can I personalize a symbol?---
Unfortunately symbols have to be pre-made, no personalized symbols. Only the symbols listed are the ones available.

---Can I have a preview of how my tag will look?---
Since the tags are handmade and each letter is hammered we cannot offer any proofs before making the tag because our tags are not digitalized.

We always provide with the best materials but we recommend ensuring the security of your rings every now and then especially if your dog is highly active.
