Gift wrapping and packaging

Each item will be sent to you individually gift-wrapped in grey and white paper gift bags for single keepsakes, or wrapped in white tissue paper for larger items. Each gift is tied with twine and finished with a ‘Bub & Cub’ luggage tag for you to personalise. Orders will be carefully packed into a recyclable cardboard postage box or padded postal bag. I do my upmost to keep packaging that isn’t eco friendly to a minimum, and protect fragile items with recycled paper and biodegradable pellets which dissolve in water or can be composted. Frames and ceramics do require bubble wrap to prevent breakages, but I encourage customers to please reuse this wherever possible. Bubble wrap can also be recycled wherever plastic bags are recycled.

Ceramic items may be hung outside, but I cannot guarantee that they will be frost or weather resistant. Twine may lose its colour over time if hung outside. Sealing or varnishing my ceramic keepsakes would require the use of sealants which I feel would contribute to the release of VOCs, and I am committed to reducing these wherever possible, hence leaving the finish on my items as natural as possible.

Custom and personalised orders

Customised and personalised orders are very much catered for and encouraged :) If you see anything you would like to customise, or have any ideas for an item I could create for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

All items include free second class delivery via Royal Mail. There is an option to upgrade to first class at the checkout if you would prefer your order to reach you faster. Please note that these options do not include tracking information. If you would like to have your order sent by tracked delivery please just pop me a message as I am more than happy to arrange this at an extra cost. Many thanks x

Returns for non-personalised items are accepted. The buyer is responsible for return postage. Please contact me within: 14 days of delivery Please return within: 14 further days for a full refund. Please contact me if you wish to cancel your order, I can happily arrange this unless I’ve begun working on your order. Unfortunately due to the nature of personalised orders I’m afraid I cannot accept returns, unless they arrive damaged or a mistake by myself has been made. Please contact me if this is the case to arrange for me to send a pre-paid returns label. Items must kindly be returned before a refund can be processed. If an item is damaged and you would prefer a replacement please pop some photos across and I will happily remake it.

Each solid ceramic star is 10cm x 10cm in size. They are lovingly hand stamped with your choice of wording in a vintage typewriter font letter by letter. Wording is accompanied by a star or heart decoration with a matching trail, before being carefully finished with your choice of twine or a satin ribbon bow.

Please note that these stars are hand finished, and have a rustic appeal which may not be perfectly uniform. My hand stamped letters and decoration may not be identical on every piece due to the natural variations in the materials, but I believe it adds to the rustic charm and organic feel of the keepsakes.
