~ Why birds eye cotton?
Bird's eye cotton is reusable, absorbent, washable and virtually lint free. The towels are made from the same durable fabric our mothers and grandmothers used for baby diapers before recycling them into cleaning cloths. This is an easy way to lessen your footprint on the environment while saving money. Think of the cost of regular paper towels that get tossed in the trash after one use!

~ Thin and thirsty!
Out of the package birdseye cotton is smooth and thin. The magic happens after you wash them! There are little diamond shapes woven into the fabric that pucker up after washing and drying. These tiny diamond shapes are what makes the birdseye fabric becomes even more absorbent, fluffy and soft. The more they're washed, the better they get! Avoid using dryer sheets and fabric softeners for maximum absorbency.

~ What you'll get
Sold in bundles of 12. Each cotton towel is approximately 11 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches and will shrink a bit with washing to approximately 10 1/2 inches square. All edges are finished with a French blue serged edge. Spool of thread not included. This 100% cotton fabric will wrinkle during washing. This can be lessened by removing them from the dryer promptly. This is due in part to the little diamond shapes woven into the fabric that pucker up during washing. The puckers that make them so absorbent can be best seen in next to the last photo. The last photo is a folded towel fresh out of the dryer.
