Original designer chair “LUPINA” (“Shell”) from the famous Yugoslavian and world-recognized industrial designer Niko Kralj. Niko Kralj was an architect, famous for the legendary Rex chair, which was exhibited in the MOMA museum.

SHELL chair was made in the 60s in the former famous ex-Yugoslavian company STOL KAMNIK.

The lounge chair is in its original condition, a bit refreshed. Upholstered in original black faux leather. This chair is one is from the rare low edition of Lupina chairs with a seating height of only 36 cm.

The chair’s two uniquely formed plywood panels are balanced on either side of the chair. Dark metal frame supports a shell-shaped seat.

CONDITION:
This chair is in perfect vintage condition, considering the age. Upholstery has no torn or holes. It has only has a few minor notches that are visible in the photos and gives the item an authentic vintage character.
It is stable and very comfortable
The metal legs base are in original condition and in good shape, with no pronounced signs of rust or any dents or deep scratches. It is sturdy and stable.

REFRESHED: a chair is completely cleaned, the faux leather upholstery was newly protected. Metal legs were polished and plastic caps on metal legs were replaced.

Chairs are thoroughly cleaned.

Everything is carefully wrapped and packed.
