On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap). My company Periwinkle Ink is registered with LUCID, which is the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR). Producers/distributors pay a license fee to the dual system for the collection, sorting and recycling of the packaging they introduced to the market. My Dual System partner is Activate by Reclay. This recycle symbol ink stamp is hand carved from softcut linoleum. I have used traditional carving methods and tools to create this item. It has been set onto a wooden disc and sealed with sparkle. 🌟 Image measures approx 2.5cm.

These stamps can be used to promote your own your eco friendly products if you are a supplier/maker and use recycled materials or packaging etc, as shown in the photographs using brown parcel paper. Perfect for reducing sticker waste, reducing plastic consumption etc.

To care for this item, I recommend gently wiping and pat drying, although cleaning after each use is not required, blotting is fine.

🌳Although every care has been taken to seal and protect the wood and bark, the nature of the product meant that some shedding may occur over time. However, this should not affect the use or print ability of the stamp.
