Naked Raku Ceramic Vase wheel threw, handmade in raku technique.
Can be used in Ikebana or simply home decoration alongside Wabi Sabi ideas.

White clay fired at 1030 degree in Raku kiln.
Without glaze reduced in sawdust (black oak)

Measurements: 9.0 cm tall, 14.5cm diameter.

This vase is without glaze and the water absorbability of the clay is quite high as the clay in this Raku firing does not reach the temperature of the sintered clay. Only suitable for dry bouquets.

I received these two very unique chewans and couldn't be more pleased. The Raku technique applied to the Kuranuki style bowls is just beautiful. I appreciate how difficult it is to produce such artful pieces. Subtle colors and they subtly sparkle as you turn them. Considering they came by way of Poland, the shipping process went very smoothly. Love them both very much.
