What does it mean when I mark my package as a gift?

Packages Marked As Gifts: This simply means that I will not include a receipt in your package. My shop name will still be provided with the order, as it is on the shipping labels. I do not offer gift wrap.

Our jumprings measure about 5mm on the outer circumference and just over 3mm inside the ring. Some of my charms have soldered jump rings (closed and cannot be opened unless cut) and some have open jump rings. The open rings are not always perfectly round. This is normal and to be expected. If you have questions about the kind of jump ring on the charm you want, please message me before you order. I will not issue refunds for a charm once I ship it due to the jump ring being soldered or open, or for rings that are not perfect circles. Thanks you for your understanding.

While rare, every once in a while, I get a message from someone asking me about tarnish. Sterling silver as well as bronze can absolutely tarnish. Think of silverware that needs to be polished. It's because it tarnished. It all varies depending on climate (humidity), skin chemistry, chemicals, (shampoo, soaps, perfumes, etc) and moisture. (Sweat, showering, swimming, etc) Caring for your jewelry requires cleaning it with a soft cloth. If tarnish does occur, try a tarnish remover cloth. It should work well. Are you items for children? Are your items lead and cadmium free?

While I have written confirmation from all of my current suppliers that the jewelry I sell in my shop is lead and cadmium free and/or passes testing, I err on the side of caution and DO NOT recommend these items for children under the age of 18 due to extremely strict testing laws in various states. NONE of the items I sell in my shop are intended for children of any age.

Are your charms sterling silver? Why are some charms stamped and others not?

All of my charms are sterling silver, unless otherwise stated in the description. Some charms that have a mix of bronze and silver cannot have a .925 stamp because they are not considered .925 silver due to the bronze additions. Some of my sterling silver charms come from vintage molds, and those charms will not be stamped. I will not issues refunds if an item isn't stamped. If this is a requirement for you, please ask before purchasing. Most charms have some kind of stamp on them. They are either authenticity stamps (like a .925 stamp on silver) or manufacture stamps. This is normal and to be expected. I will NOT refund charms because they have stamps. That is out of my control. If you have questions, please feel free to let me know.

I do cary a small amount of gold or rose gold plated charms. These charms have a THIN layer of gold on them (and DO contain nickel) and are not meant to last a lifetime. Eventually the plating will come off. They are also not meant to be cleaned with a tarnish clothe as this can rub the plating off. I will not issue refunds for plating coming off after you receive the item. I check my items to be sure they are in perfect condition when I send them. Once the items leave my possession, the care is then up to the buyer and out of my hands. I can not control how the item is worn, cared for, or things like moisture or humidity. What do I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If your order show that it is lost in transit, you can open a dispute with Etsy for a refund if the package is under $250. If it is over, please let me know. If your order shows it was delivered, you will need to speak directly to your postal carrier/local post office. These packages are scanned as they move and if it is marked as delivered they should be able to provide more information. Unfortunately, while I would love to be able to cover the cost of the post office's mistakes or theft, I am unable to do so due to the low prices that I already offer. I just can't do both. I recommend adding insurance or a signature confirmation to your order during checkout to be on the safe side, especially during the holidays.

I do take returns. Your order will be refunded less the shipping that was paid once I receive your return. If the post office returned your package for any reason, I will issue a refund, less the shipping that was paid as well. If you would still like the item, you are welcome to reorder and I will ship it to you quickly. Thanks for your understanding.

Info About Shipping Upgrades

If you choose to ship Express shipping, it will require a signature. If you choose insurance on your package, that will also require a signature. This is for your safety. If the post office marks an item as delivered and you do not get it, a signature can prove who received it. Thank you for your understanding.

A Note About Our Jump Rings: Please note that almost all of our jump rings (the round extra attachment on our charms) are about 5mm each. (This measurement is the OUTER circumference... inside would be about 3-3.5mm, roughly) Some of the rings are soldered closed and some are open, depending on where they are manufactured. Some of our open rings are not perfectly round. This is normal and to be expected. We will not issue refunds for rings that are not perfectly round. If you have any questions regarding the jump rings, please reach out BEFORE you purchase. Once we ship an order, we will not issue refunds if the chain you are planning to use doesn't fit the charm you purchased or if you wanted a closed or open jump ring but got the opposite of what you wanted. When checking your chains to see if they will fit, be sure to check the end of the chain. Often times, this part is larger than the chain itself and still needs to fit through the jump ring on the charm. I do try to add to the listings if the rings are soldered or not, but that is a work in progress, so if you don't see the information provided, please ask before purchasing. Thanks so much!
