DIY Finishing Required:
These arm guards come as raw 3D prints, allowing you the creative freedom to finish them to your specifications. Recommended finishing steps include light sanding, fiberglass resin coating for added strength, and painting to match your Mandalorian theme.

Suggested Finishing Process:

1. Light sanding to smooth minor debris
2. Apply a light coat of fiberglass resin and let cure.
3. Sand again for an even surface
4. Fill gaps with Bondo glazing putty or wood putty
5. Final sanding for a smooth finish
6. Prime, paint, and protect with a clear coat

Note: Strengthening the arm guards with fiberglass resin is recommended to ensure durability and longevity.

In temperatures exceeding 110 degrees, It can start to lose its structural integrity and become malleable. If it gets too hot some items such as helmets could collapse in on themselves.

Objects in direct sunlight can get much hotter than the air temperature, often by 20-30°C (36-54°F) or more above the ambient temperature. Dark-colored objects, metals, and materials with high thermal absorption can reach temperatures over 50°C (122°F) or even higher on a hot day.

It is fine to wear in the sun, even if not painted and/or coated in resin as long as proper care is taken to ensure it doesn’t get overly hot. However, even finished products left in direct sunlight for extended times can still result in the product issues.
