The finished chicken, when worked in 4ply yarn, will measure approximately 20cm high and 22cm beak to tail. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a larger chicken work in double knit, aran or chunky.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.

It is worked in African Flower shapes with instructions in written form with lots of photographs and handy hints to follow for assembly.

This pattern is written in English.
