Victorian Small Hand Carved Coral Dog Charm - Sweet Stylized Sitting Dog with 14K Jump Rings

I'm pleased to offer a darling antique small Victorian carved Coral sitting Dog Charm...perfect to add to the charm bracelet or necklace of any passionate dog lover...

Hand carved from Mediterranean Coral, the charm pendant dates to the Victorian era and features a sweet stylized pooch sitting at attention, with his tail wrapped around him. A little dirty from the years, but still in lovely condition, I've added two new 14K gold oval jump rings to the Dog so s/he may be easily added to your favorite necklace or bracelet.

Designed to dangle upside down, (please see photo #9), the dog itself measures approximately 11/16 x 1/4 of an inch (19.5 x 6.8 mm) and has a total drop length of just under 1 inch (25 mm) including the two unsoldered oval jump rings.

The color of the coral is a rich orangey-red, with a nice glossy surface. (the color may show a little differently on your screen) There are a few natural imperfections, a little expected wear and some old grime, which I have not attempted to clean. The carving is on the simple, rustic side, and the dog's posture and raised nose gives it lots of personality.
