Onstail slippers are made of premium Alpine wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep that are free to wander the foot hills of the Austrian mountains. These Tyrolean mountain sheep graze at about 2,000 meters above sea level and eat only the best grassland. The good treatment of the animals allows us to receive high quality wool.

Tyrolean wool is warm and breathable. It thermos regulates by trapping air between its fibers giving it the ability to keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The wool is also naturally elastic, and the reason why felted slippers shape by the wearers feet so easy.

Our slippers are made from nonwoven textiles with no stitching and are felted in one piece to form a slipper shape. The shaping process creates a form which will fit around your foot ensuring comfort and wearability. Because of the natural self-cleaning ability of the wool, our slippers do not have to be washed which has a positive impact on the environment, however they can be washed in a washing machine under 40°C, but please avoid dry cleaners or dryers.

As Onstail slippers are made to order, production time usually takes about 1-2 weeks, but during busy times (before Christmas) this can increase to 2-3 weeks.
